Spiral Roses

Spiral Roses

Perhaps you've seen Spiral Paper Roses...... Start With the Circle,Cut the swirl, Roll it up Done!

Wait.......

So the How to..,

 1. Lightly draw a circle with a pencil. (I used burgundy metallic paper and traced around a bottle which was about 2.5 inches in diameter.)

 2. Cut out the circle with  scissors, using the pencil mark as a baseline.

 3. Cut into the circle in a spiral motion, going around as far as the scallop scissors will let you. Oops, I snipped off the inside of the circle. It's okay... the cut doesn't have to be perfect. :D

4. Insert the inner end of the spiral into the slot of a quilling tool and roll the paper until you reach the opposite end. Slide it off the tool. If you prefer to finger-roll, that works fine also.

5. Compress the spiral gently between your thumb and index finger... looks more rose-like now. Put a little dab of glue on the tail and hold it in place on the side of the rose while the glue dries. A quick-dry glue is ideal for metallic paper.

  End result.... a rose is a rose is a rose... <3

I Love this Quilling ! I made This in last month.The Materials this Quilling project are 80gsm Paper strips(2mm),Transparent Glue, a slotted Quilling tool.

To make the flower pot ,with the quilling tool, star the rolled paper strips one by one.Now you have flat paper Disk.Next Gently push center of the disk so that it extrudes outward to from the shape of the flower pot.

Apply a generous amount of the glue in side of the pot to hold the shape.Let the glue dry.

I glued in side the pot Two pieces sponge using Transparent glue. Then I Cut Little piece of Green and Brown Papers and put it in to the sponge.Let the Glue Dry. 

Rolled some Papers and bind using gum-tape. Then I get sponge and cut round shape. and I glued ball on to the roll.

Then using Some glue I added Little Tissue Flowers all around. I used Red Tissues for flowers. and middle of the flowers I used 1mm flat rolled paper strip.  

Now Its Ready!!

A few Weeks ago, I made this cute Teddy bear.I always wanted to made teddy, finally I did it.

I got this idea through after Google search.

I used 80gsm papers. 

The Quilled teddy bear is aprox 4.5cm tail, that is about 1 1/2". He look so tiny on my palm.

Wild Flower Frame

Wild Flowers

 This Is My 1st Design Of this Month. After Google Search  I find this Idea. :D

I started by making a Few field Flowers and I choose Poppies for blue Color.

I always wanted to Quilled Some wheat and now I had the Chance, hence  the three corn ears.

this Arrangement is not be completed  with out Fruit.So i decide to make the delicious Strawberries! But for a Chang I made Blue Strawberries. :D 

 

I used 2mm paper Strips of paper Hand cut from 80gsm A4 sheets from paper. For the Background I used the Black Design cardboard. Which make all my  flowers and leaves pop-out.The aproximate of this quilled Craft is 21cm x 29.7cm.

Quilling Gerbera Flowers

After a Search through my favorite Quilling Blogs and site I landed on this little gem.I fall in love and immediately start working.

   

 I also wanted to add a little insect and I felt Like something yellow will create a nice contrast,hence the butterfly! This is my first Quillig Butterfly.

 The Size of panel is 16.5"x13.5". The Quilled Garbera Flower are Made of 2mm Paper Strips.

Hydrangea 3D Flower Pot

      Hydrangea 3D Flower Pot

 

This is I made For a some one special.I'm  use to make pot 80gsm Orange Colour Paper,then  I Cut 2mm Strips,After the Cutting I Rolled That Strips One by one using my Quilling tools.Finally I made Orange Colour Flat Disk. After I Pop-out it and apply Transparent glue pot inside. Finally! I made my Little Pot! :)

How To Add Hydrangea in to the Pot:
  

1st I cut Lot of little Flowers( Its so hard),I used crape papers to make That Leaves. Then I got the sponge and I cut 5 deference size sponge balls. I glued in side the pot Two pieces sponge using Transparent glue.

 

After they Dry I glued Balls in to pot.And then I added Some leaves using glue.Then Using Some Glue I Added little flowers all around. I used two shaded of red.

Almost ready  My little Hydrangea Flower Pot!

then figure the green paper strips (1mm) to make the leaves of the miniature plant.then stick the fringed yellow flower on to the plant,stuff  the bottom of the pot with more fringed green strips and use glue to hold them place.

Stalk: For the stalk I cut 10 strips about 5 mm  and 29.7 cm (or 11 inches) long, out of white A4/Letter printer paper. Then I rolled it on a quilling tool, glued the tip and pulled the quilling tool out. Then I pressed into the center of the disk with my finger to form a cone shape, and coated it with glue inside.

Cap: For the cap I used about 20 red strips 4 mm  and 29.7 cm (or 11 inches), as I did for the stalk, rolled it and then I shaped the roll into a dome shape. Coated with glue inside the shape.

Finishing: Then I attached the cap to the stalk and make a ring from a wide (1 cm or 1/2 inch) and short (5 cm or 2 inches) strip cut to make a fringe. I made a few quilled "eyes" for grass and let i attach them to the mushroom's stalk. The white dots were the most difficult part; I rolled them using very narrow and short white strips (1 mm , and 2-3 cm or 1 inch long) and carefully glued to the cap using tweezers.

Three-Demensional Quilled Birds

Three-Dimensional quillied birds

This is One Unique 3D quilling. It's made form 80gsm paper, hand cut 2mm paper strips. the tail and wings made using the method of alternate looping. i cut along the strips back of the crest to get three 1mm feathers.The height of the bird is about  12cm that is about 81/2". She's look so cute in the grass.


I went to make  another  little birds too. he is Blue colour and he was little more than yellow bird.

The height about this bird 9cm,that is about 6 1/2 ". Love it.!

Roughly see the Images as it gives a more smoother look,and no doubt a lot easier to attach. taking that site image and using the fringing technique for the eyes, I'm more impressed with the result. It most certainly adds that something extra special, which makes theses guys so cute!   :)

Loving so much he turned Out, I went about to make him a Big brother.!I change he's feathers colour.

Flowers with the Bird

Flowers With The Bird

This flower Arrangement shaded of blue.  I should mention that although I had made a sketch for this composition and prepared the quilled flowers, I experienced difficulties assembling it.For this Project I want to create small Bird instead.

So here's my little Blue Bird. 

This Flower Arrangement Had So many Details and colours.

This Frame is made From wood and Glass. The Total Size Of the Picture is 18"x13".
